Complete Westchester What Clinicians Need to Know Series

 is now available

We are pleased to share the final training from the What Clinicians Need to Know series:

Archived Webinar: Cocaine and Other Stimulants: What Clinicians Need to Know

Stimulants are a class of drugs that speed up the body's systems, including substances such as cocaine, amphetamines, and more. They can make a person feel more awake, alert, confident, or energetic and can also be accompanied by a number of health and mental health concerns. This training will provide an overview of the various substances comprising this category of drugs, their intoxication and withdrawal symptoms, and co-occurring mental health and physical health concerns. Participants will also gain an understanding of the neurobiological mechanisms underlying stimulant use, the clinical presentation of stimulant use disorders, and effective evidence-based treatment approaches to address stimulant use disorders.
