File Audits for 811-funded Projects — Important Updates

Ohio’s 811 Project Rental Assistance Program allows extremely low-income households composed of one or more adults with a disability to live in an integrated setting through rental subsidies and access supportive services. A referral network administered by the program partners identifies eligible individuals/households and matches them with participating LIHTC projects.

OHFA has received many inquiries from management agents requesting a resource to help them better understand what is required when submitting 811 audit files. As such, a detailed checklist has been developed. Management agents must ensure they read the new 811 Audit Upload Checklist thoroughly and upload requested documents with the appropriate names in the proper order. If a file is not uploaded properly, it will be rejected. Additionally, OHFA has developed a new 811 Upload Instructions Guide which explains how to choose the 811 Program Category.

  • Additional information on the submission process may be found here.
  • Information on XML uploads may be found here
  • Ensure necessary staff members responsible for completing AOCs have access to DevCo. Here are instructions on how to get access to the DevCo database. If any assistance is needed, contact OHFA’s Help Desk

Code Violations

Owners/management agents are reminded of their responsibilities under Treas. Reg. §1.42-5(c)(1). Pursuant to the regulation, AOCs are due annually to OHFA and such certifications are made under penalties of perjury. Code violations must be reported in AOCs. Further information may be found here.

Ensure OHFA’s Most Recent Updates Are Shown in Your Web Browser

Due to constant regulatory changes, OHFA frequently updates our website with new or revised forms and policies. This will help ensure you see the most updated information whenever updates are made to OHFA’s website. Read the following instructions for further information.

How to Clear the Cache and Cookies in Your Web Browser

Why Clear Cache and Cookies?

Clearing the cache and cookies from a web browser is an important first step for almost any internet browsing troubleshooting. The cache is a tool used by the internet browser you use to speed up the page-loading process. However, sometimes the cache can cause problems when updated websites saved in the cache conflict with what's actually coded in the websites. Clearing the cache and cookies from the browser you use is a way to ensure that any issues you encounter are something wrong with the website itself rather than inconsistencies caused by a browser’s history.

Keyboard Shortcut for Most Browsers

If you are using Internet Explorer, Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, you can quickly clear the cache with a keyboard shortcut. While in the browser, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (or Command + Shift + Delete on a Mac) simultaneously on the keyboard to open the panel for deleting your browser data.

IMPORTANT TIP: Close/Quit a browser and restart it by opening a new window after clearing the cache and cookies.
