The AHFA compliance department now has the latest revision of its compliance manual and three forms owners/management of AHFA funded Multifamily properties can use to comply with the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) regulations on its website at www.ahfa.com. The compliance manual and forms can be found in the Compliance section of the website. The forms are in the Addendums, Certifications, and Verifications section under the heading HOTMA.
Owners/management may start complying with the HOTMA regulations anytime this year. The mandatory start date for HOTMA is January 1, 2025.
