Compliance Reporting Reminders

Projects receiving re-syndication of housing credits must have create a new household file created for each housing credit household remaining from the original project. In addition, a copy of the initial certification should be placed in this file. This will provide the necessary documentation that the household was qualified as a housing credit household before rehabilitation.

lease review Chapter 3, Section 3.11 B. of AHFA’s compliance manual for further guidance. AHFA’s compliance manual is available on AHFA’s website at https://www.ahfa.com/multifamily/compliance/compliance-manual.

Management with projects receiving re-syndication of housing credits must also move out the households from the original project and enter a move-in event for new projects in AHFA DMS online. Please review Chapter 8 Item 28 of AHFA’s compliance manual for further guidance.
