This month, we are featuring a new iteration of a light convergent sensor improving upon existing capabilities, connection with control boards, and including a new digital sensor type.

B5W-LB Light Convergent Reflective Sensor

Key features and benefits:

Improved Sensing Capabilities: increased effectiveness in various applications
Compact Size (B5W-LB1122/LB1112): size reduction allows for flexible placement in applications
Comparable to LCR Sensors: able to detect dark or light materials consistently
Expanded Sensing Range: low profile allows for a small structural footprint within application; able to be used in clean environments
Improved Sensor Performance: remains stable in object detection across a wide range of materials and distances

Application examples include:

Packaging (detecting transparent film)
Non-contact applications (hand detection, body detection)
