Comprehensive Iran-Iraq Exposé by Dr. Robert B. Sklaroff  
In addition to Rush Limbaugh’s focus on this seminal foreign policy concern, many additional facets thereof have been culled from the Internet;  To The Liberal DbM’s Dismay, There Will Be No Disastrous War With Iran  (yet), but the bottom-line is that  this constitutes an ongoing challenge rather than a one-off event . Trump’s  Iran strategy of ‘maximum pressure’ continued after the killing of Soleimani , for this  'Decapitation Strike' on Soleimani Struck Fear into the Hearts of Terrorists in Iraq, who are said to be 'Fleeing and Hiding' ; it mattered not that, after the  U.S. added troops to the Mideast, Iranians called for revenge at the general’s funeral . Secondary gain emerged when the  Air strike that targeted Soleimani and Muhandis also killed key aides , for the  U.S. Strike Against Soleimani Changed the Rules of the Game in Iraq and in the Region ; Iran’s old tactic of “fighting to the last Iraqi” in a shadow war against the U.S. now entails many more risks and costs. [Ironically, a  deadly stampede killed 40 and injured 213, postponing the burial for slain Iranian commander , thereby  delay ing  the burial.]
Thus, this “Special Edition” is intended to elucidate [a]—how this crisis operationally split the GOP, as has been increasingly become apparent (while libs attempt to control the nomenclature); [b]—the Iranian threat (loco-regional and national-international); [c]—the predictable reactions thereto (positive and negative); [d]—comparison/contrast with events in the Obama Era, with particular attention to the JCPOA (Iran-Nuke Capitulation-Pact); [e]—the DbM’s malign unprofessionalism (pervasively); [f]—what The Donald has done (and why).

[a]—It is necessary to focus up-front on  how this challenge operationally splits the GOP , as some have claimed that the  Killing of Soleimani risked U.S. gains against the Islamic State ; for example,  RAND PAUL asserted it is now ‘MUCH MORE LIKELY’ IRAN AND PROXIES WILL ATTACK THE U.S. AFTER SOLEIMANI DEATH  and  Ann Coulter also spouted neoisolationism (‘We Thought Trump Was Different’ About Starting Wars ) . When interviewed on Breitbart Radio, she unjustifiably claimed “the same people who advocate adopting an aggressive posture on Iran are the same people who don’t mind having porous borders (forgetting Trump multitasks); she revealed herself to be a one-trick pony (solely fearing the invasion). Pounding this theme regularly at 8 p.m. is  Tucker Carlson (who asks the questions no one else does , perhaps) ; he  wonders why everyone Is Suddenly Trusting The Deep State On Iran  (forgetting that decapitating the Deep State doesn’t preclude trusting the staffers). It is lamentable that otherwise-brilliant  Tucker Carlson hasn’t formulated a cogent response to Islamism (‘Washington Has Wanted War with Iran for Decades — They May Have Finally Gotten It’ )  while calling John Bolton “disgraced” unjustifiably; again, he besmirches a quality individual and the quality/validated postures he has adopted over the decades.  [Illustrative of how Trump behaves, he  Doubled down on striking cultural sites  (if used to shroud weaponry), prompting  BoJo to disagree ; subsequently, the  Pentagon chief contradicted this plan , as  Trump pivoted to claim the U.S. is Targeting 52 Sites in Iran  (that  We Will Hit 'Very Fast and Very Hard' ).]
 
Libs cite the fact that, in  2007, Trump Made The Case For Why It’s allegedly Time To Leave Iraq ; yet,  Forcing US Troops from Iraq Would be a Victory for ISIS and Iran . Indeed, analyzing  how US and Iranian forces compare in the Middle East  yields the conclusion that  the U.S. already has overwhelming force in the Middle East  to deal with any threat from Iran, as it has built up air, ground and naval assets steadily since last May, augmented by recent preparations for a possible conflict. This hasn’t stopped the MS-DNC’s Chris Matthews from corrupting rhetoric [ Matthews: Trump's Use of Term 'Regime' Is Neocon Rhetoric to Force Regime Change ] and content [ UNGLUED CHRIS MATTHEWS COMPARES TERROR MASTER SOLEIMANI TO ELVIS PRESLEY AND PRINCESS DIANA , denied by  Iranians who said he's dead wrong and is pushing 'propaganda' ]; this isn’t an isolated incident within the DbM, for a  MAJOR GERMAN DICTIONARY ADDED ‘INSHALLAH’ TO LEXICON . [ Killing of Iranian general supposedly brought Iraq's divided Shi’ites closer , although this is probably as transient as has been the claim that Iranian and Iraqi Shi’ites are also now bonding.]

[b]— Iran’s Malevolence  was initially manifest when  ROCKETS WERE LAUNCHED AT US TROOPS  located  NORTH OF BAGHDAD  and near Erbil in Kurdistan;  More rockets have hit near embassy in Baghdad  and, in the process,  Ukraine Suspects Iran Shot Down Their Airliner . Thereafter, a  New Khamenei speech underlined the importance of popular support for the regime , explaining why  Khamenei wanted to retaliate directly ; simply put,  Iran needed a moral victory to show that it was not cowed by massive Israeli airstrikes in Syria, nor, indeed, by a deteriorating economy at home . Increased bellicosity emerged against the Little Satan [ Iran: Total ‘Annihilation of Israel’ Will Be Price for Soleimani Killing ] although, after the retaliatory bombing, it was somewhat subdued against the Big Satan [ Top Iran official said revenge will be against military site, for Iran isn’t seeking war ]; in many respects, this crisis constitutes  Hezbollah’s global moment of truth , for it’s unclear whether  Esmail Ghaani (the successor to Soleimani)  can fill the shoes of the late  Qassem Soleimani (whose EFP Made Iraq Even Deadlier For U.S. Troops  and who  Pence  has  tied  to 9/11). [ Rouhani Admitted Iran Was Behind the PanAm 103 Bombing .]
 
It’s  premature  to  add Iran’s Leadership to the ash-heap of History , but  An Iranian attack on the U.S. homeland may already be in the works ; indeed,  Iran Has Terrorists embedded Inside The United States And Across Our Border  prompting the  FBI and Homeland Security to have warned of the Iranian terror and cyber threat in a new intelligence bulletin . This presents  terrifying possibilities for an Iranian cyberattack  [presaged by  Iran's Cyber Attack on Billionaire Adelson ], enhanced by awareness that  Israel and US now face Iran on parallel planes  recognizing, for example, that any major  US strike on Iran could have consequences in North Korea . Predictably,  France, Russia and China condemned the slaying of Soleimani as a destabilizing act , for  Russia stands to benefit as Middle East tensions spiked after Soleimani killing ; not predictably,  China won’t join any Iran-Russia coalition against Trump . [After the  Iraqi Consulate In Detroit Held a Memorial For Terrorist Soleimani , the  locals from Iraq were unhappy .]

[c]— Unabashed Endorsements  emerged from  SoS  Pompeo   (Soleimani Was ‘Building Out’ What They Called ‘the Big Attack’ Which ‘Could Have Killed Dozens or Hundreds of Americans’ ) ;  SCALISE (PEOPLE CRITICIZING TRUMP FOR SOLEIMANI STRIKE NEED TO ASK WHOSE SIDE THEY’RE ON );  Dan Crenshaw Torched Young Turks Commentator For Taking Iran's Side in Soleimani Strike   and   Obliterated Two False Premises Dems invoke when attacking Trump’s Iran Foreign Policy ;  Nikki Haley (who put Soleimani and Iran On Notice....Two Years Ago ) ;  Petraeus  (who said Trump May Have Helped ‘ reestablish-deterrence ’);  Zumwalt (who feels Soleimani’s Demise Could End Iran’s Long, One-Way War with America ) ;  Lieberman ;  Podhoretz ; an  Army Veteran Blinded By Iranian Explosive (‘For Us, It’s Retribution’ and ‘Finally Policies That Make Sense’ ) ; and  Core Trump supporters . [ Pompeo informed Mitch McConnell he has no intention of running for the Kansas Senate seat .]
 
Dems were condemnatory , voicing  SPEAKING POINTS FOR THE IRANIAN REGIME ;  Debbie Wasserman Schultz said even Trump Okayed the Soleimani Strike as an impeachment distraction ; philosophically, the  Soleimani hit prompted Dems to exhibit Progressive Regression , clamoring for  documentation to be declassified . In addition to a  Dem Congressman saying the US Has A ‘Crazy’ Leader unlike Iran , leading the unpatriotic parade were members of the Squad.  Omar said Trump imposed sanctions to 'starve' the people of Iran and said she wants sanctions against Israel , Omar  gave  Iran Military Advice by suggesting It Could Target Trump Hotels,  Omar Claimed talk of any Iran War Triggers Her 'PTSD,'  and  Omar laughed/smiled/giggled While the Speaker Talked About Dead Soldiers . Not to be omitted,  AOC Liked a Tweet From Russian State Media Claiming Iran Doesn’t Target Civilians ,  AOC Claimed Trump Engaged in an 'Act of War' by Killing Soleimani , and  AOC Accused Yet Another Opponent of Racism for Calling Out Rep. Jayapal’s Lies about Soleimani's Death . Also not to be omitted were 2020-POTUS Dem-candidates, who were  ‘Concerned’  while remaining  on defensive ;  Biden  was for the Iraq war before he was against it,  Warren Refused to Condemn Terror Master Soleimani , and both  Warren and Sanders Hosted a Call With a Pro-Tehran Lobby Group . [ Soleimani Frenzy provoked Crazy Young Libs Who Think They're About to Be Drafted to crash the Selective Service Site .]
 
[d]— Conveniently overlooked was Obama ’s having  funded  Iran and prosecuted a  Libyan  war that: 1) Lacked congressional approval 2) Lacked a post-war plan 3) Toppled a dictator who had *given up* WMDs 4) Provided a zone for ISIS 5) Worsened a refugee crisis and 6) Set stage for still-ongoing 2 nd  civil war. Returning attention to the Iranian theater,  Both Presidents Bush and Obama had Passed Up Opportunities to Kill Soleimani , but  LEGENDARY BENGHAZI LIAR SUSAN RICE   delivered another  whopper ( “the Obama administration was not presented with an opportunity by our intelligence community or by the U.S. military to strike Qassem Soleimani”)—thereby personifying how a  Truth-Challenged speaker prevaricates to a Truth-Challenged pundit —and  staunchly defended Obama sending billions to Iran . Thus, a  Benghazi Team Member Let Susan Rice Have It for Claiming Can't Trust Trump Admin Because They 'Misrepresent' Facts ; also ignored was the undeniable fact that  Obama had Launched 2,800 Airstrikes Without Congressional Approval or Fake Progressive Outrage . [ Obama stopped Israel from killing Soleimani in 2015, threatened to shoot down IAF strike on Iran ; presumably, this was due to fealty to the JCPOA.]
 
This discussion must necessarily recognize that the  JCPOA   unraveled  (Iran injected gas in new centrifuges), for  Iran said it will no longer abide by nuclear deal limits ; also, necessarily, Iranian retaliation threats emerged against  Europe  and  Iran's Foreign Minister Threatened to Expose Western Diplomats Who Took Bribes to Create the Iran Nuclear Deal . Meanwhile,  Wendy Sherman (JCPOA negotiator) Complained on PMS-DNC About Trump Blaming Obama  and that  Trump was ‘Not Graceful In Victory’ During his Iran Press Conference . Here’s  JINSA : “The Iran nuclear deal extended the breakout time for Iran to get a nuclear bomb by maybe half a year, and slowed down their program for a decade or so, in exchange for $150 billion in freed up funds, several billion in walking around cash, the end of most sanctions, and no prohibition of any kind on Iran's aggressive behavior in the region, its missile development, or its arm sales and transfers. in other words, all serious day to day threats were ignored, in the hope the Iranians would join the so-called community of nations. That strategy was certainly a failure.” That’s why the  US Ambassador to Germany called out European governments over their lame Iran response s . [e]—The  DbM reflexly attacked The Donald ,  hysteria fueled by anti-Trump  animus ; coverage was/is  A Case Study Of Ignorance And Manipulation  as  U.S. Journalists Mourned the death of this Iranian Terrorist  ( a Hero ) , for the DbM  Is Always, Always Wrong About Trump And National Security . True to form, a  New York Times Reporter Claimed Without Any Evidence That There Was 'Razor-Thin' Evidence of a Quds Force Plot and the LawFare Blog Had an Orgasm ; a  NYT REPORTER got Burned  for having  PARROTED A PROPAGANDA VIDEO OF SOLEIMANI READING POETRY  (thereby glorifying a  TERRORIST ). NYT Columnist and never-Trumper “conservative” Brooks, declared the  Iran Situation ‘Hurts Trump’ Politically , for the  Strike Is Beneficial in the Short and Long Term, But Scary in the Middle Term ; completing the cycle, the  NY Times was blasted over obituary tweets for Iran terror mastermind Soleimani and NFL coach Sam Wyche, posted just hours apart . [Attention-seeking  Behar Cheered a White Nationalist’s Anti-Trump Tweet on Soleimani , ignoring the fact that  Soleimani was a monster who wanted an atomic cloud over Tel Aviv .]

[f]— Trump’s  Rationale for the Assassination  was/is intuitive for, per  Pompeo, Doing nothing would have ‘created more risk’ than killing Soleimani , adding that  from now on, we target Iranian decision-makers, not proxies ; although some claimed the military  DOUBTED  he would act,  Pentagon Leaders Defended the Soleimani Strike because he was Planning 'Imminent' Combat Operations Against U.S. Military . Thus,  Trump said Soleimani’s Reign of Terror Is Over , and this   shadow commander  was not immune to attack despite being  a professional soldier in a war zone ; thus,  people of Iran are celebrating Soleimani's death  because they recognize  Trump is Preventing A War rather than Starting One . Although the  United States Is At War With Iran , Trump  doesn’t want open warfare with Iran ; simply put, he feels America  Caught the General 'in the Act' and Terminated Him . Even  The Federalist  noted that,  despite Leftist Hysterics, Trump Was Likely Right on Iran ; as a result, the  United States and Iran backed away from imminent conflict as Trump said he is ready for peace ‘with all who seek it.’  [Thus,  Tehran’s retaliation and Trump’s reply  suggested that  Iran's Options in this Showdown with America Are All Bad ; indeed,  Trump’s Iran Endgame Remained the Same , namely, that  Iran Will Never Be Allowed To Have A Nuclear Weapon .]
 
Iraq is a problem for Trump , but  Defense Secretary Esper said the U.S. has made no decision to leave Iraq ; on the flip-side,  Iraq fears turning into a warzone again , prompting some in  Iraq to Call for Foreign Troops to Leave  (with Sunnis/Kurds having boycotted the  Iraqi Parliament Vote in Favor of Expelling U.S. Troops ). After this action of the  Iraqi parliament (which wasn’t reciprocal after the Iranians bombed American bases on Iraqi soil) , Trump threatened to slap  sanctions  on Iraq  'like they've never seen before' ; yet,  even if the government approved the bill, canceling the US-Iraq agreement requires giving Americans a year’s notice for withdrawal . [The overall forces-at-play were summarized by  David French  thusly: “ Soleimani had entered a theater of armed conflict  not as a diplomatic guest of the Iraqi government, but rather as a co-belligerent with Shi’ite militias — the very militias that had attacked an American base and killed an American contractor and had days before attacked and burned part of the American embassy.]
