Building self esteem through the art of juggling. Juggling is an active form of balance or otherwise coping with more than one component. Cascading Carlos educates all ages while performing a variety of juggling techniques. This is a festival style show, outdoors on the Easton Library lawn, 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. Fun for all ages!

Kristin Rutkowski will share stories and photographs from her book, "Her Helm: Chesapeake Bay." The book highlights women who make their living on the Bay waters as ferry operators, captains and more. An exhibit of the portraits can be seen at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum thru September 2024. The Lunch & Learn Speakers series is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

38th Annual Festival of Trees

November 25 9:00 am - 5:00 pm




“Caroling, Caroling Through the Town” is the theme for the 2023 Festival of Trees which will be held in The Gold Room of The Tidewater Inn from Saturday, November 25 to Tuesday, November 28, 2023. In a magical holiday setting, fifty beautifully decorated trees sponsored by individuals and businesses will be on display. In addition, fifty decorated trees ranging in size from 12” to 36” will be for sale. Throughout the festival, holiday entertainment will be performed by local artists, groups and musicians along with the sale of festive gifts.
