"Don't you worry about your funding?"

I’ve been getting that question a lot lately, especially with changes being implemented by the new Administration. And I genuinely appreciate the concern. Yet, it comes from those who don’t quite understand how this nonprofit ministry operates.

Here’s the truth: Empowering Everyday Women has never—not once in our history—received federal dollars. Not a penny. Not a dime.

We chose this path with prayer and purpose. While other organizations benefit from federal funding—and there’s nothing wrong with that—Empowering Everyday Women took a step of faith.

We decided that sharing the Gospel freely requires complete independence.

Think about that for a moment. No government grants. No federal assistance. Just pure, unfiltered commitment to spreading God's love—through both Word and deed.

Sure, we could have played it safe. Federal funding would have meant predictable budgets and padded bank accounts. But it also would have meant whispering where we're called to shout, holding back where we're called to give abundantly.

When we hand out food, we share the Bread of Life. When we provide clean water, we tell of the Living Water. Every care package carries the message of God's love, every tutoring session opens doors to mentor young hearts in Christ.

That’s not just our style—it’s our calling. This freedom to serve without constraints? It’s priceless.

Instead of taking an easier road, we’ve built something remarkable: a Christ-centered ministry that only answers to and is led by God.

When crisis strikes at midnight, we don’t consult policy manuals—we pray, and then we act. When someone needs a Bible, we don’t check government grant guidelines—we simply give the Word freely, as it was given to us.

This freedom to preach, to serve, to love without hesitation is precious. And it’s only possible because of faithful supporters like you who share our vision for bringing both physical help and spiritual hope to those in need.
