Updates about our upcoming event!
Hi everyone! We're looking forward to our concert this Friday, as well as the official end of summer, Labor Day weekend. Sadly, this week also marks the end of the FOTL season as we know it. After 14 weeks of fun concerts, we've realized that we must end the weekly series due to the shorter and busier days to come. This doesn't mean FOTL is over, as we're hoping to have some isolated concerts throughout the fall and winter and we'd love to be back next summer.

Thank you all so much for your support and enthusiasm for FOTL these past few months; it's been an invaluable experience for everyone involved. We're beyond excited to end the season with a
grand total of $5000 in donations for Our House.
Thanks to all of you again, and we hope you make it to this Friday's concert to hear our quartet, pick up a t-shirt, and
celebrate a fantastic run! We love you guys!!

P.S. Don't forget to check out our website (fiddleronthelawn.org)
for more info about the program for Friday.
This Week on the Lawn ...
The quartet welcomed Drew to the lawn at last week's concert.
Who's playing? We're back to basics this week with a return to the classic string quartet: Nina Evtuhov and Ina Veli on violin, Erik Rynearson on viola, and Paula Hochhalter on cello.

Where is the concert? 549 Arbramar Avenue, Pacific Palisades, 90272

When should I come? Friday September 4th from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Seen anyone around in the stylish new
FOTL t-shirts?
That's right, we made merch! With any donation of $20, you can get one shirt to rep our neighborhood concert series! Make sure to stop by our t-shirt booth during the next concert to get yours.

For those of you new to our program, here's a quick explanation of the origins of Fiddler on the Lawn!
I'm Alexandra (Sasha) Schoettler, and I’m a junior at Pali High. Like all of us, I’ve been feeling a bit scared and helpless during this time of crisis, and I’ve been looking for a way to help support families dealing with sickness and loss due to COVID-19. As someone who has dealt with loss myself — my father had cancer and passed away in 2010 — I know that one of the most important and helpful ways to grieve is to spend time with your family and friends. However, due to the stay-at-home orders and social-distancing rules, many people who have to cope with loss during this global pandemic are unable to lean on their loved ones in the way we’re all used to. Our House Grief Support Center, an organization that helped me when I lost my father, is working to help adults, teens, and children who are experiencing loss during these uncertain and frightening times through grief support groups and phone sessions.
I want to support Our House through donations that will be raised by the neighborhood concert series that my mom and I are organizing called Fiddler on the Lawn. We want to bring music to the community as well as raise as much money as we can in order to help those dealing with loss of loved ones during this global pandemic and more.

We'll be posting our upcoming concerts as well as pictures and more!

See you soon!
