At Atlantic Marine Corps Communities, we understand that many of you who are receiving a monthly concession check from us for the difference in your agreed upon rent amount and your BAH, may be puzzled by the delay in receiving your concession payment this month.
Our regular timeline for requesting checks is between the 20th and 25th of each month, although we typical process the requests closer to the 18th-20th. With that in mind, there is an additional, standard 5-7 business day turnaround for printing, processing and mailing. Based on this, most residents receive their checks in the mail by the 30th of each month allotted.
As we have received many concerns from residents regarding the whereabouts of their check this month, we would like to remind residents that there are many variables that could affect the timing of delivery. Once we send the approval for checks to be processed, we rely on the mail house for their processing services, and the USPS mail delivery system. For your peace of mind, we processed checks on the 19th of this month, and passed off for processing. Any postal delay incurred is out of our control.
Note, if you moved in after August 1st, 2016, and you signed a lease that allots a concession, you should not see a check until October's processing.
