Superintendent of Schools Update
Donald Snider
Dear CCS Families,
As summer reaches its halfway point and campus preparations are in full swing, I am delighted to welcome a familiar face back to our CCS community.
Please join me in welcoming Brian Turbyfill, a proud 2016 Concord Christian School graduate, who is returning to his alma mater in an exciting, multifaceted role.
Brian returns to Concord after successfully serving for six years at Maryville Christian School as both their Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball Coach.
He brings a wealth of experience back to our campus, where he will serve as an Admissions Assistant and Assistant Athletic Director.
In his athletic role, Brian will directly oversee our Middle School sports programs and lend his expertise to our boys basketball program. Additionally, he will take on the leadership responsibility of managing the Storehouse.
We are always incredibly proud to welcome back CCS alumni who have excelled in their careers and possess a true heart for investing in the next generation of our community.
Please join me in giving Brian a warm "welcome home" when you see him around campus in the coming weeks!
Be sure to check out the latest edition of our "Lions for Life" alumni newsletter HERE to see how other CCS alum continue to shine in their next chapters.
I hope each of you has a safe and wonderful holiday weekend and enjoys celebrating our country's independence and 250th birthday. Happy 4th and God bless the USA!
Thank You,
Donald Snider

🎓 Alumni Spotlight: Antonia Lopez Bachman, Class of 2021 🦁
From Colombia to Concord, and now making an impact in journalism and publishing, we are proud to celebrate Antonia as one of our outstanding alumni! 👏
Since graduating from CCS, Antonia earned her bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism from Trevecca Nazarene University. Along the way, she interned at a news station, wrote for The Tennessean, married her high school sweetheart, Eric (CCS Class of 2020), and now serves as a copy editor for a Christian publishing house.
Most importantly, Antonia continues to see God's faithfulness in every step of her journey. She shares, "Concord’s academic rigor not only taught and prepared me for my next level of education, but it also helped me cement habits that I continue to use in my job today."
We are thankful for the way Antonia is using her gifts to glorify Him and impact others! ❤️
**Click HERE to check out the May/June "Lions for Life" newsletter to learn more about Antonia's story, other alumni news, and upcoming events.

Each student submitted an audition piece and was placed into bands based on their skill level. We are proud to share that all of them represented CCS with excellence, performed well, and brought home some awards.
Congrats Lions! 👏🥁
