It’s Here! This is the week!!
Bring in donations and volunteer to serve.
This is one of the greatest opportunities we have to demonstrate the Gospel to our community.
To LOVE our NEIGHBOR the way we believe Jesus would, we host a gigantic garage sale twice a year and give everything away. FREE! Shoppers go through the items and take what their families need. Families may also request groceries. The deadline for groceries is September 16th.
SHOPPING appointments and open shopping times are available over three days (9/21, 9/22 and 9/23.).
Individuals can register for one appointment. After registering, you will receive an email with further details and instructions. You may bring up to four guests with you, but please only register ONE person per household.
Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of days, times, and tasks!
NOTE: If you would like to shop and volunteer, please register as a shopper and volunteer (separate registrations).
DONATIONS will be accepted at Concord Church at the following times:
● Sunday, 9/17, right after worship and 2:30-5p
● Monday-Thursday 9/18-21 - 9a-3:30p
● Wednesday evening 9/20 - 5-8p
● Thursday evening 9/21 - 4-7p
The following will be accepted:
Children
● Clean, gently used, unstained clothing & and shoes of all sizes and seasons - particularly Fall/Winter
● Clean outerwear (coats, boots, etc.)
● Costumes
● Unbroken toys with all pieces (only small, like-new stuffed animals, please)
● Baby furniture, toys, and supplies of all kinds
● Gently-used books
● Clean, working outdoor toys and bicycles
Adults
● Clean, gently used, unstained clothing and shoes of all sizes - particularly Fall/Winter
● Clean outerwear (coats, boots, etc.)
● Purses, belts, scarves, hats, jewelry, and other accessories
● Sleeping bags, duffle bags, suitcases
Household
● Plates, cups, pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, small appliances
● Sheets, blankets, curtains, towels, washcloths
● Small furniture (that can be transported in a van or car)
● Lamps, office supplies, and school supplies
● Gently-used books
● Exercise equipment (that can be transported in a van or car)
● Working electronics and tv's (flat-screen only)
Lots of VOLUNTEERS are needed, and there is a wide variety of days, times, and tasks! We can use you for an hour or more, sitting or standing, talking to people, or behind the scenes.
Jobs Include:
● Atrium setup (Sunday immediately after worship)
● Sorting & organizing items (Monday-Thursday - 9a-3:30p, & Wed 5-8p)
● Signing in families and/or helping "shop."
○ Thursday: 3:45-7:00p
○ Friday: 9:45a-12:45p, 12:45-3:45p, 3:45-7:00p
○ Saturday: 7:45-11:30a
● Safety Team
○ Thursday: 3:45-7p
○ Friday: 3:45-7p
○ Saturday: 7:45-11:30a
● Tear down and pack up - Saturday 11:00a-1:30p
