Holy Spirit Sermon Series

Begining June 4th

The Book of Acts is historically referred to as the Acts of the Apostles. But really, the main person in this account of the church is not an apostle but rather a part of the Trinity- the Holy Spirit. And in this new teaching series, we will travel with the Holy Spirit as He guides and empowers the movement of the Church in the first century. Our hope is that we will all better understand how the Spirit leads the church—and knowing that we can better understand how the Spirit moves in our lives today.

Update

How to Win Within Sermon Series Oikos material (Sermon notes & Table Talk cards) are available through this Sunday, May 28,th at the Oikos Filling Station located in the Atrium.

NEW Summer Sermon Series, The Holy Spirit in the Church, material (Sermon notes & Table Talk cards) will be available at the Oikos Filling Station located in the Atrium beginning Sunday, June 4th.

The Holy Spirit in the Church Oikos online material will be available beginning Sunday afternoon, June 4th.

Take it with you!

VBS Volunteers Needed

We are still in need of additional VBS volunteers.

We need more adult preschool volunteers (this volunteer will be with a group of preschoolers, taking them to a Bible story room and Music room where the kids are taught by the class leaders).

You have the joy of getting to know them, making crafts, and reminding them how much Jesus loves them.

We also need grade school volunteers to walk kids around to the different locations, bible stories, crafts, music, snacks, and worship time.

You are there to get to know the kids and help when needed in the different rooms.

We are looking for teens in 6th grade and up to serve alongside our adults.

We are still in need of 2 baby/toddler volunteers.

VBS needs about 5 more wonderful volunteers. We have flexible hours. Please let us know what you can do!

For more information or to let us know how you can serve in VBS, please contact Debbie Elder at debbiee@concordchurch.com

Silent Auction Baskets Needed

We want to ask our connection classes to participate in Concord's Trivia Night. The silent auction portion needs baskets! These baskets may be the theme of your choice or an experience!

For example, a Cardinals-themed basket or a “Be a tourist in your own city” experience with different admission tickets and gift cards to local hotspots! Use your creativity and help support our youth as they raise money for the CSM Mission Trip! We recommend having one person in your connection class be the “leader” of the basket to help gather donations and put the basket together.

In addition to baskets, we are also accepting donations for the silent auction in the form of items, artwork, and gift certificates.

Please have the baskets turned in to Daniel by Monday, June 5th.

If you have any questions, please contact:
