Weekly Update – March 23, 2022

Middle School Basketball Teams Compete in National Lutheran Tournament

The Saints Middle School Basketball teams competed in the Lutheran Basketball Association (LBAA) National Tournament in Valparaiso, Indiana last weekend. Thirty-two teams competed and Concordia Prep was one of only a handful of schools that had both boys' and girls' teams invited. Both the boys' and girls' teams advanced to the Sweet 16 round. The girls went on to the Elite Eight and Final Four last Sunday. This morning at chapel members of the teams (some were missing because of the trip to Broadway) were celebrated for their accomplishments.

Middle School Testing

Sixth and Seventh Grade students will take the Stanford 10 Achievement Test on the mornings of Tuesday, April 5, and Thursday, April 7. All students should bring two sharpened no. 2 pencils with erasers for use on the tests. Students may bring from home a battery handheld calculator to use for the math sections of the tests. Calculator use in the math sections is optional. Concordia Prep will not provide calculators for taking the test.

Please be aware there are no make-up test dates for the Stanford 10. Please email the Director of Guidance, Mrs. Grill with questions: kimgrill@concordiaprepschool.org.

Athletic Department News

Anyone who attends a spring sporting event and takes pictures or action shots, can you please send those to cpsathletics@concordiaprepschool.org. We use these for our media and to promote our athletes. I would love to have pictures from every spring sports team!

Wednesday, March 23: Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse at home vs. Joppatown at 4:00 pm.
Thursday, March 24: Varsity Softball at home vs. Tome School at 4:00 pm.
Friday, March 25: Varsity Baseball at Park at 4:15 pm, Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse at home vs. Gerstell at 3:00 pm, Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse at home vs. Key at 5:00 pm.
Sunday, March 27: Varsity Track at Kent Island at 10:00 am.

OnCampus Parent Login Information and Reminders

Parents should now log in to the OnCampus portal with the Blackbaud ID account they created last month. Your Blackbaud ID is your email address. If you need to reset your Blackbaud ID password, please use this link: https://signin.blackbaud.com. Please contact Mrs. Amanda Trapani, Director of Technology, if you have any further questions, or need assistance with setting up your Blackbaud ID account.
