Back to School Night: Thursday, September 5
All parents and guardians are invited to attend our annual Back to School Night on  Thursday, September 5, from 6:30-8:30 pm.  During back to school night, you will get a glimpse into your student’s typical day at school. We hope that this opportunity to meet and visit briefly with our fine teachers will make you aware of what is going on at school so that together we can provide the best education possible. A map of the school is provided with your student's schedule. Please feel free to stop by the Health Suite and say hello to our excellent school nurse Mrs. Marquardt.

6:15-6:35: Gather in the CPS Cafeteria to pick up schedules

To follow your student’s schedule this evening, go to the “Drop 8” column on the schedule. Follow periods 1-7. For the period 8 class, see the last block of the “Drop 7” column- period 7.

There will be no formal closing this evening; you may leave after your last class. 

Members of the Concordia Prep Parent-Teacher League (PTL) and Saints Athletic Boosters Club will be in the Media Center. 
  • Visit the PTL table to become a member and/or sign up to volunteer on one of many committees.
  • Visit the Gently Used Uniform table to purchase items - most items are $5 (cash preferred).
  • Visit the Booster Club to learn about opportunities to support our student-athletes.
  • The Booster Club will have CPS spirit wear available for purchase.
Campus Clean Up Days
On Saturday, September 7 and again on Saturday, September 13, the Saints Booster's Club will be holding a campus clean up day from 8:30 am to noon. They need volunteers to help! Students who volunteer will receive lunch and a out of uniform pass for Tuesday, September 10. Please contact Dan King with questions: dankinghome@msn.com .

Per the school handbook: All students are expected to be in attendance every day that school is in session and to be on time to all classes. If a student is too ill to attend classes, the parent must call the school prior to 9:00 am. Do not have the student call to report his/her own absence. If the school does not receive a call and the student is not in school, truancy inquiries will be made. Trip to Peru in Summer 2020
Interested in traveling to Peru? Back to School Pool Party

I t's Not Too Late!
Concordia Prep’s PTL is hosting a back to school pool party for all Concordia Prep students, teachers, parents and siblings. Students and teachers are FREE; parents / siblings are $10 each. Signed waiver, RSVP form and money are due. All guests must sign a waiver. You may download the forms below. The forms are available in the Front Office.

PIZZA will be provided by the PTL. Each family is requested to bring an item to share (see RSVP form for shared items). 

Enjoy the activity pool with two diving boards, water slide, lazy river, vortex and water basketball plus lap pool. Questions: contact PTL Board @ ptl@concordiaprepschool.org

Adult Pick-Up Basketball Games
The Saints Athletic Booster Club will be sponsoring Pick-Up Basketball Nights again this fall. The SABC would like to invite all current dads and alumni to come out and play basketball on Tuesday evenings, 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the school gym.  

Pick-up games will start on Tuesday, September 10.  If interested, please send an email to Jay Meyer,  meyerjerome91@gmail.com  for more details and registration. 

Login for OnCampus
This year, we will be sending out permission and acknowledgement forms via OnCampus. Parents: if you do not have your own login and are logging in as your son or daughter, please contact Director of Technology, Mrs. Trapani at amandatrapani@concordiaprepschool.org . Parents can share one login but you will not be able to sign permission and acknowledgement forms as a student.

OnCampus Instructions
Concordia Prep uses an integrated Learning Management System called OnCampus. This technology is widely regarded as one of the best educational tools available. Students and parents can use this portal to view schedules, calendars, grades, upcoming assignments, athletic and school events.In addition to email updates, OnCampus is the main vehicle for communication between the school and parents and students.

Returning Students - From the School Nurse
Over the counter Medication form: Remember to get your child's physician to complete an   Over the Counter Medication Authorization Form  for next school year. This will allow the nurse to give your child medications for pain, cough, sore throats and skin irritation (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, cough drops, itch cream and skin care). The form is available from the nurse or on the website under "Forms and Publications". It is school policy that prescription and non prescription medications are kept in the health suite and administered by the nurse.   Download the Over the Counter Medication Authorization Form

Returning students- Parents please complete the  Returning Student Medical Statement/Health Information and Emergency Contact    form for the next school year which is available on the website under "Menu" and "Middle or Upper School Parents" and "Forms and Publications". The form should be given to the nurse in August.
