Inclement Weather Reminders

With today's inclement weather and additional predictions of more inclement weather to come, please be reminded of our inclement weather policy. Families should monitor emails, website, MyConcordia portal notices, and social media platforms for current operational information and updates that will be distributed as soon as possible to our Saints community.

Yesterday during the Middle School Chapel, three students were recognized as recipients of the second quarter Core Value Awards. Pictured from left to right, please join us in congratulating Cam Shriver '31 (Service), Ellie Cruikshank '29 (Community), and Natalie Baker '30 (Integrity)!

Please see the below reminders about student ID key cards and proper access of campus buildings.
- Students must bring their key card each day to school for safety reasons and proper entry into campus buildings throughout the day.
- Students should not share or borrow key cards from their peers.
-
If a student is misplaced or lost their key card, please notify Ms. Bainbridge via email and bring $10.00 to give to Mrs. Hauf (Front Office) or Ms. Bainbridge (Main Office) to replace their key card.
- Students should never bang, pull on, or try to circumvent the doors and their proper security usage.

Flu Season Reminders
As the flu continues to circulate in the community and may persist into the spring, it remains beneficial for those who have not yet received their flu shot to do so now. Getting vaccinated can provide important protection against the flu, helping to reduce the severity of illness and the spread of the virus. Please continue to practice good hand hygiene, which includes regular hand washing and use of hand sanitizers, especially after touching shared surfaces or using tissues. Contact the School Nurse with any questions.
| |
No Personal Hotspots Reminder
As a reminder, students cannot use personal hotspots inside campus buildings during the school day. The use of personal hotspots is a violation of the School's technology acceptable usage policy due to the interference this causes with our wireless network.
New Middle School Loaner Device Checkout Process
Beginning on Monday, February 10th, Middle School students will be asked to trade their personal cell phone in order to check out a daily loaner school device from Ms. Chaffman. Cell phones will be returned to students when they return the loaner school device. We will be evaluating this new checkout process for the next few weeks. Please contact the Technology Office with any questions.

Spring Musical Coming Soon!
Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, Big Fish tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest…and then some! Edward has lived a full and fantastical life, populated by witches, giants, and mermaids, marked by true love that stops time in its tracks, and framed by heroics that push the limits of believability. His adult son, Will, is no longer amused by his father’s fantastical tales, insisting on a rational rather than a fantastical account of one’s life. When Edward’s health declines, and Will learns that he and his wife, Josephine, will have a son of their own, Will decides to find out his father’s “true” life story, once and for all.
Big Fish is a heartfelt, powerful, and truly magical musical about fathers, sons, and the stories that we use to define our identities. With spine-tinglingly beautiful music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, and a funny, heartwarming book by John August, Big Fish is a magnificent “big fish” of a tale, itself—spectacular, fantastical, and overflowing with love.
