Saints Athletic Boosters Club
From Mr. Dan King '86, President of the Saints Athletic Boosters Club:

Happy Summer to all!

We were all heartbroken to lose our spring sports season. It was so disappointing on many levels. We hope that all the Concordia Prep families and athletes have come through the last three months safe, healthy, stronger in character, and with a deeper resolve to succeed in what the future holds for them. In the past few weeks, we have seen division and violence tear away at our society as well as peaceful voices calling out for change. The best advice I personally can give is to look to the Lord and to Scripture for guidance and hope. The pathway for prevailing in these times as a Christian and as a community can be found in the word of the Lord. I personally believe this country has never been better, and yet it can be even better. I pray it will rise to the challenges of inequality and lack of acceptance. Concordia Prep is a great example of a diverse community coming together in peace for the good of our students.

The Saints Athletic Boosters Club is a group of parents and alumni that provide support for the growth and improvement of all of Concordia Prep's athletic programs, athletes, and coaches. We believe that school athletics is one of the best paths to build friendships and to learn not only acceptance of others but a true appreciation of the differences that make us all unique and valuable to each other. The brotherhoods and sisterhoods built on the fields of sport carry with us for a lifetime. Concordia Prep has embraced this point of view in athletics and has invested funding and resources into building competitive teams, and opportunities for any student who wishes to participate.

The Saints Athletic Booster Club is looking for more parents to become involved. At the beginning of the school year in September, we will start our monthly meetings. We will email you the details later this summer. We hope to have parents of our athletes come out and join us to help support the school and the athletics at Concordia Prep.

From the School Nurse
Parents remember if your child takes medication at school, to have their physician complete the Medication Administration form for next school year. Also, if you want your child to be able to receive over the counter medications, please complete the Over the Counter Medication form and have their physician sign it as well. These forms are available on the website under Parents, Middle School or Upper School and then Forms and Publications or use these links. The forms are also posted on a Resource Board via OnCampus.

Your student needs a new sports physical every year so please plan on getting that done over the summer so your student will be cleared to participate in PE and sports. The Preparticipation Physical
Examination form is on the website or through this link.
