With sadness, we share the news of the death of Naomi Wilzig, the mother of Alan Wilzig.  Alan is a founding and current board member of JCP.  Alan, his wife Karin, and their children, have been part of the JCP community since its earliest years.

The funeral is taking place today, Thursday April 9, at 1:00 PM at the Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ. Burial will follow at King Solomon Memorial Park in Clifton, NJ.

The family will begin sitting shiva after the conclusion of Passover, Sunday April 12, at the home of Alan's sister Sherry Wilzig-Izak, 3 Windermere Court, Livingston, NJ.  They will receive condolence calls throughout the week from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with afternoon and evening services at 7:30 PM each day.  Shiva will conclude at 5:00 PM on Friday, April 17.  If you wish to send a card to the family's home in New York City, please contact our office (212.334.3522) for that information.  There is also a tribute site  here.
