President's Message
Greetings to All!

What an amazing couple of months we’ve had thus far! Our membership continues to increase and every month, we continue to bring new topics of interest to you, our members.

Last month, FCHCC hosted its Professional Networking Event at iHeart Media . Special Thank you to Jorge Lopez, General Sales Manager who is also one of our Strategic Partners, who spoke to us about the growth of Hispanics in Northeast Florida.

Did you know that Hispanics represent 1 in 10 in the Jacksonville Metro Area? Saint Johns county also has the largest Hispanic growth rate this decade. Very impressive! For additional details on these metrics presented, log into the FCHCC Members Only site and view the presentation provided by iHeart Media.

FCHCC was invited to participate in the Atlanta Regional 2020 Census Hispanic/Latino Partner Summit. As the Census is right around the corner, it is extremely important that our Hispanic/Latino community, a fast-growing minority, is aware and prepared to complete the forms to be counted. Taking part of the census is YOUR civic duty, it will impact the help and funding our community gets for schools, hospitals and other vital programs. For more information, click here .

Next come join us on April 30th as JP Morgan Chase will be hosting a FREE seminar to provide helpful insight to help you as a business owner how to strengthen your business and Access Capital.  Also, on May 2nd, FCHCC will be partnering with Northwestern Mutual to discuss: “What Keeps you up at Night?” A Risk Management Seminar for Business Owners. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity and chance to learn and obtain a continuing education credit PLUS network with other like-minded business owners! It's a great opportunity you won't want to miss out on! You can register to these events later in this newsletter issue!
Lastly, I’d like to remind you about our 2019 Excellence in Business Awards. FCHCC is proud to recognize our Hispanic business owners and leaders for all their work, dedication and commitment. This year, FCHCC host and celebrate those business owners and leaders who continue to go above and beyond to succeed at what they do. Deadline to send in your nominations is July 15th. For additional details, check out our website! We want to have the opportunity to recognize YOU for all your hard work. Prizes will be awarded to nine (9) different winners… don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
