The importance of gender diversity has become a vital area of focus within organizations, industry and media over the last decade. Though there has been development of gender diversity within the financial sector, there is still room for improvement. In order to promote gender balance within the financial sector, CFA Society Calgary is organizing a conference-Diversity in Finance: The Competitive Advantage of Gender Balance on May 9th, 2017.

The purpose of this conference is to bring light to workplace diversity initiatives, provide enabling skills such as career coaching, leadership and development of a social media footprint. The afternoon portion allows participants to choose from 4 sessions that will help their respective career development.
