April 2024 Newsletter

Dear Village,

This past Saturday marked 7 years since we lost Sarah and began this journey with you all as our village of supporters. We're so grateful for your help along the way and for being a part of Sarah's Village Foundation.

The wellness movement among young people is so clear to see. Last week, we had the chance to see this firsthand at the second annual KyleCares Conference at Gillette Stadium, where 550 students across the region gathered for a day of open and honest discussion on mental health. The stigma is far less than it was years ago, and the work we are doing together is making a difference.

We appreciate everything you have done to make an impact in Sarah's honor. Please see below for a full conference recap and a save the date announcement for our next annual Zumba event!

Founding Members, Sarah's Village Foundation

On April 4 2024, 550 attendees from 37 schools came together at the 2nd Annual KyleCares Conference to learn from experts, share ideas, inspire each other and engage in open and honest mental health conversations. SVF provided an $8,000 grant to fund the keynote speaker Frank Warren. Frank, the founder of PostSecret, shared his story about mental health and the message that we are never alone.

The attendees, including the whole SVF Board, also got a surprise visit from Patriots player Josh Uche!

SVF is proud to partner with KyleCares, a foundation whose mission aligns closely with our own. In total, in thanks to the Village's generosity, SVF has funded $14,750 in grants to benefit 950 attendees across two conferences since 2023. To learn more about the impact, click here.
