For some churches, it does not make sense to create and support a website or a Facebook page. However, the national UMCOM website hosts an excellent "Find-A-Church" platform. A 15-member mission team from several Albuquerque churches traveled to Juarez, Mexico on November 15th. There plans were to spend two and a half days building a one room house for a family in the Anapra portion of Cuidad Juarez. Due to the pre-work completed before our team’s arrival and the hard work of our team once on site, we were able to bring the house to a state ready for the hot tar roof in only one and a half days! We dedicated the house to the family Saturday shortly after lunch and returned to El Paso Saturday afternoon (one day early) with most of the team back in Albuquerque by 9:00 Saturday night.
