During the FRA Annual Conference, we had the pleasure of hearing from diverse speakers on a wide variety of topics. Provided presentations are now available and were uploaded to MyFRA as reference materials and educational tools for our members.

Each presentation is housed on the MyFRA members-only site, under the "Annual Conference" heading.

If you do not see your presentation listed, but would like for members to have ongoing access, please send a PDF copy of your presentation to Jan Newton.

Please note: MyFRA is a members-only site. For access, click here.
Congratulations to the Mark and Marianne Barnebey Planning and Development Lab, FSU for winning the 2021 President's Award!

North Star Legacy Communities: A Florida Treasure highlights the rich social, cultural and economic history of African American settlements in Jackson County. After emancipation, newly freed enslaved peoples and their descendants built communities that became the economic and social hub of African American life.

Modeled on participatory planning principles and completed with the assistance of local legacy community members, the project includes profiles of individuals and places, an interactive story map and an eChamber of Commerce database designed to promote and enhance black-owned business opportunities.

To learn more about these efforts, please watch the North Star Legacy Communities: A Florida Treasure video.
