Advocates from a dozen states around the country met at the LDA Annual Lyme Leaders Meeting, a gathering of the organization's LDAnet umbrella partners, which includes various independent organizations that work together on state and national issues. Each year, the group leaders meet on Friday night before the LDA/Columbia conference to discuss what their organizations have accomplished and to hear about national issues from the LDA and other organizations. This year, advocates included Dr. Brian Fallon to recognize the LDA's 20th annual Lyme & Other Tick-Borne Diseases Conference.
