Hello.

It was great to begin to get to know the incoming Confirmation Candidates at the retreat. Thank you to all who joined us. If you did not make it, please know that we will connect you with an alternate retreat in February. Again, the 7th-grade retreat will be in FEBRUARY. I do not have the date and won't until late next month.

Your First Confirmation Prep session and Orientation will be on Monday, October 30th, at 6pm in the Church. Parents and candidates both attend and should sit together as a family. Remember, like a school, we don't have the "bandwidth" to offer multiple back-to-school, nights, and so forth. The same consideration that applies to a school applies to sacramental prep. Please set aside the date and be sure to join us. This will ensure you are ready to celebrate Confirmation in the next ministry year, 2024.

For 7th-grade families of our school, I have triple-checked with Coach Andrew Ramker, and he has indeed cleared this evening of all 7th-grade sports. Coach Ramker and his coaches will not have any sports for those who attend Old St. Mary's School.
