From The Cambridge English Dictionary: "
The expression "elephant in the room" is a metaphorical idiom in English for an important or enormous topic, problem, or risk that is obvious or that everyone knows about but no one mentions or wants to discuss because it makes at least some of them uncomfortable or is personally, socially, or politically embarrassing, controversial, inflammatory, or dangerous."
Essentially, we are all guinea pigs as we are being forced to accept an EMF situation that has been poorly studied. Many people have buried their heads in the sand rather than confront the global EMF issue that is rapidly getting out of hand. Denial is common when a situation is so big that remediation may cause changes in finances, lifestyle and major modifications in how we do things.
Humans have historically been resistant to change. This is especially true in medicine.
In the late 1800s, doctors who advocated sterile procedure in the operating room were ostracized. In England, a doctor was jailed for saying blood circulated. For hundreds of years, people who were ill were thought to be suffering from bad "humours" and were bled to dispel the sickness. The instances go on and on. My intuition and research tell me that sometime in the future we will finally acknowledge the harm that EMFs cause all humans, especially children and fetuses.
In this issue of the Pacific Naturopathic Newsletter Dr. Connie and Dr. Marcel address the EMF issue with hard science and offer tips on dealing with the energetic onslaught to our health.
Dr. Connie begins by a historical musing on the frequencies of health and the frequencies that we are being exposed to; Dr. Marcel explores just three EMF generators: smart meters, cell phones and wireless routers and offers remediation advice; and Dr. Connie returns with a thoughtful perspective on how we need to change our relationships with technology to survive in the modern world. PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency) technology was approved by the FDA in 1979 and has been used for the past 50 years to treat various conditions such as non-union bone fractures, rotator cuff tendinitis and peripheral nerve regeneration.

 Already stressed by the perils of pollution and pesticides and plastics, one could easily be overwhelmed by the newer threat of electro-smog. Our lives are so emmeshed with frequency dependent technologies that it is shocking to realize that we may need to change our relationship with these technologies in order to survive in good health. As many of you know, I am quite concerned with the Chinese Medicine concept of "Wind," and the "Wind Gates."

oted in Musings, chemosensitivity, radiofrequency sensitivity, Lyme Disease, and other multisystemic chronic conditions all have in common oxidative stress and the formation of free radicals in the body. Oxidative stress leads to mitochondrial damage, cancer, Alzheimers, Type 2 diabetes, aging and more.
Nutrients such as C, E and alpha lipoic acid are powerful antioxidants, but are destabilized after fulfilling their antioxidant functions. Glutathione restabilizes these nutrients. How long are the sessions?
Sessions last 30 to 45 minutes. Patients can just sit and relax, read or doze during the session.
What will a person experience?
Nothing except a warm water foot soak during treatment. Afterward, people may experience a pleasant tingling sensation in the feet. Most people also experience a deep relaxation effect and for some, better sleep. Often people experience more energy and alertness and a clearing of brain fog.
How often should a person receive treatment?
Any detoxification program has a cumulative effect with repeated treatments. However, each individual session provides benefits. We offer discount packages for people who desire sustained positive effects. Ideally, people should receive three treatments a week separated by one or two days.
