FINE & APPLIED ARTS OPEN HOUSE
Thursday April 18, 6pm to 8pm

The Parkland College department of Fine and Applied Arts hosts its annual Art and Design Open House Thursday, April 18th from 6pm to 8pm. Prospective students can meet with current students and faculty, view ongoing demonstrations, tour the 51st Annual Juried Student Art and Design Exhibition in the Giertz Gallery, and check out art classes in session. Spring Gallery Hours:
Monday-Thursday 10am to 7pm
Saturday Noon-2pm
To find the gallery when classes are in session, we suggest using the M6 parking lot on the north corner of the campus. Enter through door X7, turn left, and follow the ramps uphill to the highest point of the first floor, where the gallery is located. The gallery windows overlook the outdoor fountain area. 

Programs at the gallery are partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. All events in the accessible gallery are free and open to the public.
