Congrats Leroy!, Town Hall Tomorrow, Housing Forum Friday

Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend mixing remembrance with some, leisure on summer like days before
the rain started
....
Before I get to any reminders I'd like to congratulate our very own Leroy Branch as he celebrated his
10th Anniversary of being Deacon Leroy Branch
this past Saturday.
Gowanus CAG sponsored Superfund Town Hall at P.S 133 from 6:30- 8:30 pm.
The official deadline for
Gowanus scoping
submissions,
such as ours
, was last night. Thank you to everyone who has copied me on their personal submissions. However, you can still submit
by email to this address (19DCP157K_DL@planning.nyc.gov)
as the email is still accepting comments, but the sooner the better.
Some coverage of the Lidgerwood Building,including our continuing efforts
to ensure that the community is heard despite the ongoing demolition and that if there is anything that can
be evaluated by LPC
we will do all that is possible to make it so.
Assemblymember Simon, in partnership with Assemblymember Mosley and Senator Myrie
are hosting a housing forum this Friday, May 31st, 6:00 p.m- 7:30 p.m at the
Brooklyn Public Library's Central Branch.
Please note that, a week from yesterday, our
Permits and Licensing committee will meet on June 3rd since their usual date
, the 4th Monday of May would have had the meeting fall on Memorial Day.
Alternate Side Parking rules, and meters, will be in effect tomorrow May 28th.
