CONGRATS GRADUATES!
Last night at the City Council meeting, the most recent graduates of Career Online High School were honored with a ceremony celebrating their achievements. We are so proud of the three graduates who earned their diplomas through Smart Horizons Career Online High School with the assistance of our Project READ program. Each of the three graduates was inspired to enroll by family who went through the program or will in turn be inspiring their own family members to attend.

The COHS initiative, supported by Redwood City Library Foundation in partnership with the Library, Project READ and the California State Library, allows enrollees up to 18 months to complete the curriculum and obtain a high school diploma and career counseling. To learn more, go here.

WATER CONSERVATION ART CONTEST
The City of Redwood City is proud to present the 27th annual Water Conservation Poster Contest Winners at City Hall and the Downtown Library. Beginning tomorrow, come by the Family Place to see the artwork of the school-level winners and City Hall to see the City-wide winners!
The purpose of the Water Conservation Poster Contest is to educate the next generation about the importance of conserving water. Developing a water wise culture at an early age is vital to the success of managing our water into the future.
Redwood City kindergarten through 5th grade students were asked to use their artistic abilities to illustrate key water conservation messages. Redwood City honors, and thanks ALL participants of the contest. Congratulations to our young artists!
