Below are updates for closing out the school year.
The last day of school for students will be Friday, May 29.
Meals Sites: Friday, May 29 one meal and one breakfast will be provided and then on June 1, one meal will be provided. Meals are provided at three locations in the District; Holmes Junior High, North Cedar Elementary and Orchard Hill Elementary.
Contrary to rumors, students WILL NOT repeat the grade level they are currently in. Students will advance to the next grade level.
Elementary parents will receive a continuous learning summary with feedback from this last trimester on your child(ren)’s learning. Secondary parents will receive a report on their student’s progress as well.
Families will receive information from your building principal with specific times and details for picking up personal items the week of May 25. PK through 11th grade students that have district devices are able to keep those items over the summer. You will be able to return any items you need to return to the building; library books, borrowed clothing, instruments, etc at this time as well.
Our ‘Learning at Home’ resources will continue to be available over the summer and we encourage families to continue to utilize those resources.
At this time, our first day of school for students will be Monday, August 24. We will continue to communicate updates and any changes. Online registration for the 2020-2021 school year will begin July 6, information and directions will be sent to families.
