CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations Jane Kober and Ruth Lopez

Jane Kober and Ruth Lopez (Sponsored Programs) recently accomplished a career goal of receiving their certification in research administration. The designation of certified research administrator (CRA) indicates that an individual has met the Research Administrators Certification Council's eligibility requirements and has demonstrated the level of knowledge necessary to be a professional research or sponsored programs administrator.

OSP is excited to say that all of our research administrators are now
Certified Research Administrators!

Request for Research Project Proposals: Office of Naval Research

Design, Development, Prototyping and Testing of Smart Sensors

Pre-Proposal Webinar
07/08/2019
1:00pm-2:30pm EST

Proposal Due: 07/22/2019

MSI STEM Research & Development Consortium (MSRDC) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR) are pleased to release a new Request for Research Project Proposals (RRPP).

The 321MS team supports fundamental research that changes the sensor design constraint space. Traditional sensor systems typically begin as open-ended instrumentation devices, where the primary emphasis is on maximizing the amount of data that can be collected. Signal processing and communication are generally secondary considerations which are often addressed on an ad hoc, case by case basis.

If you have any questions before the webinar or about the proposal, please email MSRDC's Business Development Team at  [email protected] .
Funding Opportunity Announcement

Regulation of Brain Regional and Cell Type Specific Proteome Dynamics in Alzheimers Disease (R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

LOI Due: 9/23/19
Application Due: 10/23/19

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) Invites early stage innovative and exploratory research focusing on understanding the regulation of brain regional and cell type-specific protein dynamics in Alzheimer's disease (AD). In particular, this FOA seeks applications proposing to develop novel proteomic platforms and animal models to further understanding of the alteration of a single-cell neuronal cell proteome in the central nervous system (CNS) during the course of aging and AD.
