Congratulations, Class of 2021!
Congratulations to the Chabot College class of 2021! We are thrilled to welcome you to the Chabot Alumni family.

On May 29th, Chabot College celebrated the graduating class of 2021 during a virtual commencement ceremony followed by our first-ever drive-thru reception. From an ecstatic cheering corridor to professional photography station and grad gifts, the drive-thru reception celebrated a graduating class that has endured over a year of adapting to an online learning environment.

Thank you to the 200 graduates who joined the Alumni Association during this year's commencement festivities! There's still time to join in on the fun. Join the Alumni & Friends' Association today. It's free!
Over $93,000 in Scholarships Awarded!

Become a Mentor: San José Works
Looking to give back? San José Works, a Friends of Chabot College partner, is seeking mentors to build a rapport with youth and support them during an internship experience and beyond.

How does it work? The San José Works' team screens and matches mentors with youth. Mentors meet with their mentee virtually for 30 minutes a week with options to discuss topics related to work experiences, goals, and more.

If you enjoy working with youth, sharing about your career/academic pathway, and providing constructive feedback, consider becoming a mentor.

Ways to Give
The Great Ride!
Academic Senate Emergency Fund
Last year, Chabot College's Faculty Senate created the Academic Senate Emergency Fund. This fund provides emergency financial support for students, faculty, and classified professionals, recognizing faculty and classified professionals can experience financial difficulties early in their careers.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fund. This year, Faculty Senate President, Miguel Colón, and Chabot adjunct professor, Allan Graves, have made fundraising a bit more exciting.
Colón and Graves set out to ride 7,200 miles cross country. The first leg of the journey began during Spring Break; the two have already covered 3,800 miles, reaching Orlando, Florida.

Rather than simply asking to contribute money to the Academic Senate Emergency Fund, sponsor Miguel Colón and Allan Graves per mile (7,200) or by State (15). 100% of the money raised goes to the Academic Senate Emergency Fund.

Chabot College Fire Technology Program
The Chabot Fire Technology Program is raising funds to paint and repair the program's aging fire engine from 1987! The goal is to raise $25,000, which would include establishing a permanently endowed fund that would help pay for repairs and program costs into the future.
