Melodee Montgomery served as the 2015-2016 Miss Cheyney Legend and an ambassador in the Student Government Association. Melodee's future goals are to get a Master's degree in Engineering, become a Forensic Engineer, and start her own company.

Vanessa Layedra first received an Associate of Science degree from Essex County College in May 2014. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Montclair State University in May 2016. She is part of two honor societies: The National Society of Leadership and Success and Sigma Alpha Lamda. Vanessa plans to pursue a Master of Public Administration at Rutgers University-Newark.

Allison James is the director of
Girls; Live, Love, Laugh Inc., a youth services organization based in Newark that empowers, motivates, and inspires young girls in the areas of self-esteem, etiquette, bullying, health/ fitness, and hygiene and exposes them to higher education. Allison is the recipient of the Robert Sydney Needham Scholarship and the Essex County College Organization and Administration Scholarship.

Parris Taylor will begin his career working on Wall Street for J.P. Morgan within the Equity Research division and has made it his mission to make a difference in the world. Parris' future goals include becoming a portfolio manager for a large institutional asset manager, starting a non-profit organization that focuses on microfinancing small businesses in Guatemala, and continuing his contributions to society by maintaining involvement in non-profit organizations within education and economic development.
