PPI delivers awards to Utah member winners
Jules and Erika lugged HUGE boxes of awards to Utah last week to deliver to two of our winners - Alexander's Print Advantage in Lindon, UT and Utah Media Group in West Valley City, UT. In addition to the many First Place awards, Alexander's also won a Mad Props award and the 3D printed crown was hand delivered by Jules.
New USPS Rule Would Limit Marketing Mail to Paper Products Only (No More Merchandise)
Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night keeps the U.S. Postal Service from delivering the mail, but if Congress doesn’t act soon, financial insolvency just might.

The presidential task force report (originally due in August) has been delayed, reportedly until after the mid-term elections. Yet the fiscal plight of the U.S. Postal Service continues to fester.
The United States Postal Service announced that it is "contemplating amendment" of its mailing standards for domestic mail, changing the standards for letter-size and flat-size pieces.

According to the release in the USPS Federal Register, the change would limit all mail that is shipped as Marketing Mail, "regular and nonprofit, letter-size and flat-size, to content that is only paper-based/printed matter; no merchandise or goods will be allowed of any type regardless of 'value.'"
