FALL LEADERSHIP SERIES

Robert Conley’s fall leadership series is open for registration! These classes will help you to become a more effective leader in your lodge, your community and your life! Classes will focus on:

  • Conflict resolution
  • Team building
  • Planning for the future


Your $20 registration fee will include the seminar, breakfast and lunch. Free refunded if at least 3 of your moving-line officers attend! Events will begin with breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and will end at approximately 3:00 p.m. See links below to register today!


ANY/ALL DEGREE DAYS

Saturday, October 14 will see Any/All Degree Days happening at six locations around the state! Links to register your lodge’s candidate and mentor have been sent to all secretaries. If you would like to attend the degrees, please call or email the host site’s point of contact so they can collect a head count:


Candidates must have been voted on at a regular communication and must be accompanied by at least their mentor. Arrival/light breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m., EA Degree will commence at 10:00 a.m. FC and MM degrees will follow. Lunch will be provided.

JOINT FESTIVE BOARD W/PRINCE HALL!

Weber’s Hotel in Ann Arbor will once again be the place to be for the annual joint festive board with our Prince Hall brethren, celebrating the Feast of St. John the Evangelist! Join us on Wednesday, December 27th as we dine together and enjoy the various toasts and speeches of the evening. Reception/social hour starts at 6:00 p.m., dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. Registration is now open, CLICK HERE to reserve your seat today!

APPENDANT OPPORTUNITIES

If you’ve ever thought of joining one of the affiliated Masonic organizations, there are several opportunities coming up this fall!


  • There will be an outdoor Royal Arch All-Chapter Degree Day on Saturday, September 9th in Reed City! Any Master Mason interested in receiving the four Chapter degrees, please call WB Tom Black at (616) 438-8371 or email xsealtom@yahoo.com CLICK HERE for more information and sign-up form.


  • Shadukiam Grotto will hold a 7-act ceremonial at the Detroit Masonic Temple on Saturday, September 24th. Cost is $55, registration starts at 10:00 a.m. Contact shadukiamgrotto@outlook.com or CLICK HERE for more information.


  • Saladin Shrine will hold a mini-ceremonial at their Friday Fellowships (first Friday of September through December), 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Temple’s 6th floor Shrine Club Room. There will be a full ceremonial on Saturday, November 4th at the Grand Rapids Temple with brunch at 10:00 a.m. and the ceremonial at 1:00 p.m. Contact recorder@saladinshrine.com for more information.


  • The Scottish Rite Valley of Michigan’s Southeast Region is having a 5-degree day on Saturday, November 4th starting at 9:00 a.m. The 4th degree will be included for anyone wishing to join! CLICK HERE for more information or email Tim at tim@32nddegreemasons.org.

  • Berkley Lodge #536 will hold its 7th annual Cruise-In. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., come enjoy food, music and classic cars! CLICK HERE for more information.


Saturday, August 19th

  • Three Oaks Lodge #239 will hold a scholarship motorcycle ride leaving from the American Legion followed by a hog roast dinner back at the Legion building. Ride leaves at 12:00 Noon, cost is $25 (hog roast included). The hog roast will run from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., cost is $15 in advance, $20 at the door. CLICK HERE for the full flyer, get pre-sale tickets at (269) 409-1611.


Sunday, August 20th

  • The Eternal Knights Masonic Riders will host its first annual pork “smoke off” at the Trenton American Legion Post 426 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. $5 to enter a meat, $10 to come and taste/judge. CLICK HERE for more information or email darrellgray1966@gmail.com.
  • Breakfast at Millington #470, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon


Saturday, August 26th

  • Howell #38 is once again a major sponsor of the Livingston Emergency Readiness Expo! The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Livingston Educational Service Agency. Come see numerous speakers and exhibitors that will help education and prepare you to cope with natural and other potential disasters. CLICK HERE for more information.
  • Au Sable #243 will host a cornhole tournament at Oscoda Beach Park starting at 12:00 Noon. Blind draw and bring your own player tournaments available. CLICK HERE for more information.
  • The lodges of District 40 invite all Masons, family and friends to a picnic in Niles’ Arthur Dodd Park. Grillables, drinks, and tableware will be provided, a dish to pass and your own lawn chair is suggested.
  • Wayne #112 is hosting a pig roast and cornhole tournament! Cost is $15 for lunch only, $30 for lunch plus tournament entry. CLICK HERE for the Facebook event page.
