Dear PJP Families, Legacy/PJP Alumni and Friends,
Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Stacy Gallagher as she has accepted the Director of Development position at Merion Mercy Academy in Merion Station, PA. She will be joining their new head of school Mrs. Laura Farrell who will be inaugurated in late September.
As many of you may know, prior to arriving at PJP, Stacy’s extensive experience has been with independent, all-girls’ schools which included The Baldwin School and Academy of Notre Dame (just to name a few). This new chapter of her professional career provides Stacy the opportunity to complete her graduate degree as well place her on a head of school track for her future career endeavors. She will remain a contributing member of our PJP community as she will continue to be engaged with our Board of Director’s Development Committee. Her last day at PJP will be Friday, September 27, 2019.

My hope is to coordinate a successful search in which the next Director will continue advancing the foundation that Stacy has established. We are currently exploring options to have interim personnel to assist the advancement office in the short term so that we can continue the momentum of raising funds for our school's Annual Fund, Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, and stadium project.
As Stacy returns to an independent all girls high school setting, we are sincerely grateful for her contributions and positive impact she has had on our community including reinvigorating legacy/PJP alumni and engaging local business leaders. Stacy has worked tirelessly to exceed our advancement goals while pioneering a comprehensive school-wide fundraising plan, strengthened positive relationships with alumni and businesses, and raised the bar with marketing solicitations and school-wide advancement events. This last year, PJP exceeded our goals in key fundraising areas such as EITC (Tuition Assistance), Savor the Flavor, 24 hour online giving, Oktoberfest and deployed PJP’s first-ever printed and electronic annual report.
We have been blessed to have Stacy for the short time that she has been a Golden Panther. She possesses a genuine positive spirit, embraced our school mission in everything she was involved, and advocated to donors their time and talent while establishing PJP as one of their top philanthropic priorities. She always was striving to support the necessary resources for our students’ success.
Please join me in wishing the very best for Stacy as she returns to a school setting she is most passionate. Atrue Golden Panther, her impact in the area of philanthropy at PJP will continue today, tomorrow and forever.
