Congratulations to the 2022 Administrative Faculty of the Year, Lori Ciccone! This award recognizes exemplary administrative faculty who have consistently excelled in their positions and demonstrated significant impact at the university.
Lori is the Executive Director for the Office of Sponsored Programs and has been an advocate of research, scholarship, and creative activities since her arrival at UNLV. As the executive director, she has made significant changes to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) that have helped expedite proposal turnaround and submissions by her team, and she wholeheartedly supports her staff by empowering them and establishing deadlines for critical submissions. She manages sponsored programs operations, with over 20 personnel, including cradle to grave services of pre-and post-award (financial) grants and contracts administration for research including clinical trials, other scholarly activities, education, creative activities, equipment, and public service at UNLV.
