March has historic meaning...

As we launch into our 24th year in business, we at Berkhemer Clayton Retained Executive Search are proud of our track record of diversity placements achieved over the years: 62% of all candidates hired by our clients–corporations, universities and large nonprofits–have been women and minorities in senior management. Our diligence, discipline and database are the keys to our success. We are retained for national searches by client organizations primarily located in the west. And our specialties are senior executive searches for Boards, C-suite, and Integrated Communications and Marketing. It has been a banner year for us, with client organizations including Dole, Harry & David, Banfield Pet Hospitals, Sempra, Chapman University, CHOC-Children’s Hospital of OC, Volunteers of America and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles. We are the catalyst, on behalf of our client organizations, to seek out, attract and bring together outstanding people who will help make history.

In honor of March as Women’s History Month and March 8th as International Women’s Day, it is timely to add that our CEO Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire has been named to lead “2020 Women on Boards”, a national public awareness and educational campaign. 2020 Women on Boards is a 501c3 nonprofit with the goal to achieve at least 20% women directors on all public company boards by the year 2020.

Author of the book “The Board Game – How Smart Women Become Corporate Directors,” Betsy has handled many corporate board searches, developed our Reverse Board Search practice, and since 2012 has been the volunteer co-chair of the Los Angeles/Orange County event for 2020WOB. This year’s date for the "National Conversation on Board Diversity" will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, again at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center. Click here 2020WOB.com
