Inductees were honoured at the Virtual PGA of Canada Awards ceremony this evening with seven individuals, including Harry, being recognized for their incredible accomplishments in the Canadian golf industry.
“Being inducted into the PGA of Canada Hall of Fame is a great honour and I am truly humbled by this. During my career in the golf industry, I have had the privilege of serving as the PGA of Canada President from 1993-1994 and currently as the NGCOA Canada President.” said Harry. “Serving on both boards has provided me with wonderful life experiences and has given me the opportunity to meet so many great people from fellow board members, peers, industry suppliers and members of national and international allied associations to the thousands of golfers I have met. These are relationships that I will cherish forever.”
Harry adds, “I would be remiss in not thanking my staff who have supported me all these years. Without that, I would not have been able to fulfill my roles on both boards. I feel so incredibly fortunate to be in this great industry. While it has been a serious commitment, it has also been incredibly rewarding. I would like to thank the PGA of Canada for this incredible honour!”
Harry is the President of the NGCOA Canada as well as owner and President of Lakeland Golf Management Inc., a company that currently manages a portfolio of 10 public and resort courses. Harry is also a Master Professional who served two terms as Honorary Vice-President of the PGA of America and was elected to membership in the British PGA.
