EPA has announced the selection of 18 communities to receive approximately $3.3 million in Environmental Workforce Development and Job Training (EWDJT) grants to recruit, train, and place unemployed and underemployed individuals with the skills needed to secure long-term employment in the environmental field.

These job training and workforce development grants are an important part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to advance economic opportunities and address environmental justice issues in disadvantaged communities by providing opportunities for residents living in areas impacted by contaminated lands.

Congratulations to the training programs selected for funding!
