Recipients are honored for their career achievements and contributions that support the University and the Alumni Association's mission. The Board Member of the Year Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a member of the VSUAA Board of Directors. This award is presented to a board member who has demonstrated outstanding service to the University and the Alumni Association by giving their time, talents, and resources as a board member to further the goals and objectives of the Alumni Association.

Chapter Presidents Of The Year

The Chapter Presidents of the Year Award is the highest honor bestowed upon Chapter Presidents by the Alumni Association. This award is presented to Chapter Presidents for their outstanding volunteer efforts and their significant contributions made on behalf of the Alumni Association. To ensure fair competition, chapter presidents are categorized and judged based on chapter size and geographic location.

Chapter Of The Year Award

The Chapter of the Year Award is the highest honor given to active alumni chapters within the Alumni Association. This award recognizes chapters for their exceptional service to the University, the Alumni Association, and their local communities. To ensure fair competition, chapters are categorized and judged based on size and geographic location.

Trojan Legacy Award

The Trojan Legacy Award is the Association's newest award. This award recognizes members who have demonstrated outstanding and distinguished achievements in their personal, professional, and/or community service endeavors, and who have been a graduate of VSU for 21 years or more.

Orange and Blue Award

This award recognizes members who have shown exceptional and distinguished achievements in their personal, professional, and/or community service endeavors, and who have graduated from VSU within the past 11 to 20 years.

Young Trojan Award

This award recognizes our youngest members who have graduated from VSU within the last 10 years and have demonstrated remarkable achievements in their personal endeavors, professional careers, and/or in their community.
