Dear Friends,
It is with tremendous pride and great joy that the Senior Personnel Committee announces new contract extensions for our Clergy Team!
Rabbi Josh Caruso, now in his 21st year at Fairmount Temple, and Cantor Vladimir Lapin will continue to inspire us through worship, prayer, and song. As you know, in April we celebrated the installation of Rabbi Elle Muhlbaum at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple. Beginning July 1, she will be elevated to a full-time role serving the congregation as Associate Rabbi. We look forward to learning with her as she helps guide us spiritually. Cantor Laureate Sarah Sager will also continue her dedication in her part-time role in the coming years. We will never forget our synagogue’s love, support, and gratitude for her at last June’s Tribute Event in her honor!

Lastly, Senior Rabbi Rob Nosanchuk has several more years left on his current agreement with Fairmount Temple so we can all rest assured that his leadership and vision will inform our community for years to come.
We hope as you read of their ongoing commitment to this cherished congregation that you feel comfort, you feel warmth, and you feel part of something very special. We feel this deep in our hearts. We know Rabbi Nosanchuk is proud and delighted to continue leading our Clergy Team, one he compared to a “sky full of stars” in a June, 2022, Cleveland Jewish News column. This team means the world to Fairmount Temple. We are certain that everyone can think of a personal touch that one of our Clergy has provided to you at a time in your life when you needed it most.
This momentous announcement regarding our team is made possible due to YOU and your ongoing financial support by belonging to our sacred community AND participating in our Friends of Fairmount Annual Campaign. This has allowed us to engage and retain these unique Clergy leaders! We are truly grateful for your generosity. THANK YOU!
The Senior Personnel Committee, who has worked hard to solidify our congregation’s future strength, was comprised of President Michele Krantz, VP Shelley Milin Marcus, Secretary Nancy Adams, and Immediate Past President Todd Silverman. It was truly our honor to be part of a process that will lead to consistent greatness! Thank you to our Clergy Team at Fairmount Temple for enriching our lives, both up until now, and in the years ahead.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Michele Krantz,
President
Todd Silverman,
Immediate Past President
