Kyle Hockmeyer, 2018-19 Chamber Chairman
Home. Enid IS home. And home is where we wanted to be. My wife, Jenni, and I both graduated from Enid High School. We left for college, and quickly moved into our careers. We settled in the Tulsa area. We were gone for 10 years. Still, all along, we knew we wanted to move home.

In 2012, we were able to make that happen! Immediately upon returning, I knew I wanted to be active in the community. I wanted to be part of improving the quality of life in this area. The first step I took was joining the Chamber Ambassador program & attending ribbon cuttings. It is a fabulous program that immediately brings an awareness to new & reimagined businesses in town. This led to me establishing relationships throughout the community, which in turn has helped me become a part of other impactful organizations in town. Congratulations to James and Tammy Neal, owners of Southard House

An Enid bed and breakfast recently was named to the Reader's Digest list of "The Most Charming Small-Town Bed and Breakfasts in Every State."

The list, published June 6 online by Reader's Digest, selected Southard House Bed and Breakfast Inn, 518 W. Pine, as Oklahoma's pick for the list. One bed and breakfast was selected for each state.

Camp Tomahawk another success!
The first two weeks of June were fun filled camp days for boys and girls of Enid. Every year the Enid Chamber and Vance Air Force Base team together creating an educational and fun experience for boys and girls who otherwise would not be able to attend a summer camp. Highlights included day trips to White Water Bay, Leonardo's, Skate Town, movies, testing their piloting skills in flight simulators, games of mini golf and much more!

This opportunity would not have been possible without the generous donations from our local businesses and community supporters! Special thanks to our counselors from Vance AFB who dedicated much time and energy into ensuring a successful experience for the kids!
