Krista Roberts, 2019-2020 Chamber Chairman
My Husband and I enjoy Enid for many of the same reasons you do. It's been a great community for us to grow personally and professionally. Equally as important, it's been a great community for us to raise our Daughter and be active as a family.
Your Chamber serves an important role in our community and we will continue to work on initiatives identified in our 3 year strategic plan under the umbrellas of Education/Community Development, Local Economic Development, State Economic Development, Federal Economic Development and Membership Development.
I’m a strong believer that if you’re not moving forward, you’re actually falling behind. For Enid to continue to thrive, we must keep our forward momentum. It takes all of us communicating, collaborating and working together to achieve the results we all want for our community.
I’m humbled and honored to serve as your Board Chair this year and contribute to our forward momentum. My family strongly believes in the importance and the power of volunteerism and how important it is to our community. If you haven’t had the time to get involved or volunteer yet, hopefully this is the year. There are lots of activities, boards and organizations that would love to have your help whether it’s one time or an ongoing commitment. Please help us continue moving our community forward. Together we can do great things!
Respectfully,
Krista Roberts
Chairman of the Board

2019 Cost of Living Index
|
The Cost of Living Index measures relative price levels for consumer goods and services in participating areas. The average for all participating places, both metropolitan and non-metropolitan, equals 100, and each participant's index is read as a percentage of the average for all places. The composite index is based on six components - housing, utilities, grocery items, transportation, health care and miscellaneous goods and services.

Happy Campers @ Camp Tomahawk
|
|
Every year the Enid Chamber and Vance Air Force Base team together creating an educational and fun experience for boys and girls who otherwise would not be able to attend a summer camp due to limited family income. The last two weeks of June were fun filled camp days for boys and girls of Enid. Highlights included day trips to White Water Bay, Alabaster caverns, movies, testing their piloting skills in flight simulators, games of mini golf and much more! This opportunity would not have been possible without the generous donations from our local businesses and community supporters! Special thanks to our counselors from Vance AFB who dedicated much time and energy into ensuring a successful experience for the kids!
