Our coaches rock!
Check out all of our amazing UDA coaches who recently completed U.S. Soccer Coaching Courses.

UDA is committed to having qualified and caring coach mentors. Which is why we select coaches that have a passion for helping our youth both physically and mentally. Apart from playing a crucial role in assisting with players development through sport, our coaches are determined to see our players succced as student-athletes both on and off the field.

With proper mentoring from our coaches, young athletes can learn valuable lessons through psychosocial & social functions of role modeling, acceptance and confirmation, counseling, and friendship.

Again, congratulations to our coaches!

Soccer in the news
U.S. soccer foundation created United for Girls to serve girls who lack resources, access, and encouragement to play soccer.

Girls and women who play sports have higher levels of confidence and self-esteem and a more positive body image. Unfortunately, many girls are left out of the game. By age 14, girls are dropping out of sports at two times the rate of boys. 38% of girls don't participate in sports. 27% of youth sport coaches are women.
Coach spotlight
Coach Anna Papadopoulos
Meet coach Anna. She was born in Salt Lake City and started playing soccer at the age of four. She started coaching because she loves playing soccer and wanted to continue being part of the game. Anna has been coaching with UDA since 2017. Her nickname is ‘Pops’ and if she was a super-hero her power would be “speed at EVERYTHING.” When she is not coaching she likes to spend her free time hiking, snowboarding, running, reading, and spending time with my friends. If she could live anywhere in the world she would live in Portland or England. Anna is currently working to become a Physical Therapist.
