2019 Honorees Announced

(August 23, 2019 - Olympia, WA) The Governor’s Arts & Heritage Awards (GAHA) recognize individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to Washington’s creative vitality. This year's eight honorees join 255 other exemplary individuals and organizations honored with a Governor's Arts or Heritage Award over the past fifty-three years.
 
The Governor’s Arts Awards, established in 1966, recognize and honor individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to the arts and cultural development of Washington State.
 
The Governor’s Heritage Awards, established in 1989, recognize and honor individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to preserving traditions and cultural heritage in Washington State.
 
The Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) is pleased to announce and congratulate the Governor’s Arts & Heritage Awards honorees for 2019:

Placing an ad in the Governor’s Arts & Heritage Award program brochure is a great way to celebrate and support the honorees. The deadline to place an ad in this year's commemorative brochure is October 30, 2019. Please send copy-ready ads to glenda.carinio@arts.wa.gov .

Advertising space and prices are as follows:

  • $500 Corporate Ad (full page color - 5.5" X 8.5") and 4 tickets to the event
  • $100 Full-page color ad (5.5″ X 8.5″)
  • $50 Half-page color ad (5.5″ X 4.25″)
