The Habersham Chamber of Commerce wishes to congratulate all of those who are graduating and are embarking upon their next journey in life. We also know that you are receiving a lot of advice, probably coming at you from all walks of life, but if you will allow us, we wish to offer three simple thoughts.

First, and most importantly, celebrate. Celebrate your accomplishments and be proud of all you have done to get to where you are at. Too often we rush into what’s next, without celebrating the here and now.

Secondly, enjoy this time in your life right now. There will not be a better time in your life than the college years or the years that take shape after college graduation as you start, to what becomes, your professional careers. Follow your dreams, aim high, and never give up on what your passion may be.

Finally, remember that IT IS HAPPENING in Habersham. For those of you leaving for college, please return to Habersham county, where jobs will be waiting. For those of you immediately entering the workforce, be sure to check out the careers in Habersham County first.
