TCF is Celebrating the D'Ambrosio Family!
Please join us in celebrating Lou, Kim, Alexa and Christopher D'Ambrosio!

Though born and raised in South Philadelphia, Kim and Lou D'Ambrosio, along with their children Alexa and Christopher, have made their homes in many parts of the world and in the United States, finally setting down here in Delaware County twelve years ago. Throughout their lives, they have given back to their communities, locally and globally. As a family, they have been deeply involved with Amigos de Jesus Home for Children in Honduras. Individually, each member of the family has a deep commitment to various causes.

Alexa (23) has been involved with the organization "Inspiring Minds" where she served as an interpreter in bilingual schools for disadvantaged youth and with "Project Sunshine" where she organized activities for children who were hospital patients. Alex is also a Project W member.

Christopher (22) created a program called Heartwarming Hoodies where he collected hundreds of new hoodies for the Broad Street Ministry in Philadelphia. He has also been Business Manager for Harvard Hasty Pudding Theatricals, a non-profit, for the past 3 years where he helps raise funds for art programs for disadvantaged youth.

Lou has served on non-profit boards from medical research to the arts to Amigos de Jesus. He has also been very involved with Penn State, where he endowed a scholarship on behalf of Lou's late father, Marty, who was a remarkable man...a blue collar worker from South Philadelphia with boundless wisdom.

Kim is the Founding Chairperson of Project W, a giving circle that supports nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life for women in Delaware County.

The entire family has been part of TCF's City of Chester Giving Circle, supporting organizations that strengthen the Chester community.

On April 25, 2023, the D'Ambrosio family will receive the TCF Philanthropist of the Year Award at the annual TCF Community Celebration.
