At our request, the police department will place signs on Boxwood and Holbrook Drives that will limit parking to one side of the street. This is being done as a safety precaution. Boxwood and Holbrook Drives are very narrow. Emergency vehicles cannot get through these streets if needed if cars are parked on both sides. We appreciate your cooperation.

- NEW PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM AND CAREER NIGHT MONDAY, OCTOBER 30, 7:30 PM Mentorship opportunity - Mentors and Mentees sought! CAS is starting a new mentorship program to provide career advice to high school juniors and seniors, as well as college age students. We intend to harness the wealth of talent and connections among the CAS membership to strengthen the bonds within our community, foster the development of a new generation of leaders, and grow the impact that CAS has on our society. We will host a CAS Career Night for High School/College Students Monday, October 30 at 7:30 PM. High school and college students exploring career options are invited to hear members' career stories and 'secrets' to success. Members with experience in multiple career fields will offer advice and answer your questions. - A LOCAL MITZVAH TO FEED THE HUNGRY As you know, in lieu of our Harvest Now Garden, we are asking you to purchase fruits and vegetables and deliver them to the Fairfield County Food Pantry. The Food Pantry also partners with JFS Kosher Food Pantry for produce. Sophia Farmer's Market (1011 Hope Street) will give a %10 discount when you let them know you are delivering to Food Pantry. - JOIN OUR HOSPITALITY TEAM When someone new moves to town, we inform our hospitality team, who are thrilled to welcome them for a Shabbat meal. If you would like to be part of our hospitality team who are committed to hosting five new families a year, please contact Rabbi Cohen (rabbicohen@cas-stamford.org) or our membership chair, Rachel Kaimowitz (rachelshields@gmail.com). If you would like to be involved in welcoming people in alternative ways to shabbat hosting, we also have people who meet new members for coffee in the week, deliver welcome packs, or phone them to check how they're settling in. - HEALING VISITS MITZVAH UPDATE Thank you to all of our volunteers on our healing visits team. The healing visits team is a group of men and women in our shul who visit people in the hospital, facilities or at home. Lift people's sprits and make a difference. You can offer as much or as little time as you have for each person is world unto themselves are your warmth lights up their day. Every week we send out a healing visit update. - CAS FREE MEZUZAH CAMPAIGN IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT Bringing Blessings to Jewish Homes. Do you know a neighbor or a friend who lacks a mezuzah?
