M'tzora  A Leper
Leviticus  14:1-15:33
The Eternal One spoke to Moses, saying: "This shall be the ritual 
for a leper at the time of being purified ."  - Leviticus 14:1-2

SUMMARY: 
  • Priestly rituals to cure tzaraat (a skin condition) when it afflicts humans are described. (14:1-32)
  • Rituals to rid dwelling places of tzaraat are presented. (14:33-57)
  • The parashah denotes male impurities resulting from a penile discharge or seminal emission. (15:1-18)
  • The parashah concludes with accounts of female impurities caused by a discharge of blood. (15:19-33)

We are less than 2 weeks away from our Community Seder on April 20th. I am extremely thankful for the Ritual committee and all of the volunteers helping out with the Seder. It should be a great time. Registration information and the sign-up can be found by scrolling down.  

A couple of other reminders. We will have a rummage sale on Sunday, May 5th. Thanks to the fundraising committee for helping to lead this event. Look for more info in the coming weeks on when things can be brought into the synagogue to be part of the sale.

Additionally, we will hold our annual meeting on Sunday, May 19th. This will be our second town-hall style get together this year.
We will again provide updates on our building plans and the principal search. Additionally, you will hear from each of the committees on plans/focus areas for the coming year. We truly appreciate each of our members and ask that you save the date for this upcoming meeting. Look for more info in early May.

select Sunday dates: 12:05-1:30PM. The final schedule TBA.

The buffet features brisket, lamb, and chicken,  with matzah ball soup,

Adult Members and their guests - $18 each *  Non-members - $36 each
Children 12 and under (accompanied by adult) - FREE
